Change "Owner", "Group" for recursively.

Hi!
I need change recursively "Owner" and "Group" for folder X. But I not a need change CHMOD for folder X and sub-files/sub-folders. See screenshot, pls.

This option is well implemented in the program "FlashFXP". See screenshot, pls.

If you do not change the permissions on the dialog, WinSCP won't do any "chmod".

So, I have a folder test. Folder test have a sub folder and files.
I need change owner for folder test and sub folders and files. You know?
But when I change the owner, the attributes change too. :-(

After you check the "Set group, owner and permissions recursively", go to the "Permissions" and in theirs context menu select "Leave as Is".

Sorry for my late answer.

Sorry for picking up this older thread, but I'm running into the same issue and I cannot find any "Leave as is" option anywhere, has it been removed on the latest version 5.19.4? Or can you attach a screenshot, where to find it exactly? I'm also trying to change the owner of a directory recursively, but keeping the file permissions, as they are.

Thanks a lot!

@b4rt: You first have to check the "Set group, owner and permissions recursively", as my post above says. Did you?

@b4rt: It's the one at the bottom (Gruppe, ...). Once you check it, you will have the "Leave as is" option available in the Permissions box context menu.
