Bad Dark Mode = Handicap Inaccessibility

I have a chronic neurological condition that has, in the past, left me bedridden and unable to communicate for months/years at a time. I'm currently in a remission, and able to (half/kind of) work again.

I've just lost an hour and a half of my morning to trying to find an FTP client - in 2024 - that has a functioning, usable dark mode. FileZilla is immediately out. But WinSCP's dark mode doesn't bother getting it right, either. I'm currently looking at the directory listing in dark mode, and all the files are listed in a dark blue. Investigation tells me this is because those files are compressed. So that's an explanation... But it doesn't make the program usable for me to know that. Some of my files WILL BE compressed, you know.

And there's an old country song that goes "Blue on black, tears on a river, push on a shove, it don't mean much." The point being, there's no real difference.

I've seen Martin dismissing the need to support a dark mode in a number of different threads, across many years, in the past 90 minutes of my day lost... And I'd just like to thank all the volunteer devs for coming together to build the community a stairway, for free.

I'll just sit here at the bottom of it - IN MY WHEELCHAIR - trying to appreciate what it would be like if, in two decades, any of the able'd people who've worked on this project, had recognized the existence of the rest of us.

Re: Bad Dark Mode = Handicap Inaccessibility

So those really local compressed files? (blue should not be used for any remote files by default, unless you have explicitly configured WinSCP so)
Local compressed files should be very light blue – so rather contrasting on a black background. See attached screenshot. Is that what you are seeing? If not, please post your screenshot.
