delete file with spaces

I am trying to delete a file name from the server using a script and it keeps coming up with the error that the file name doesnt exist. It seems that if i try and use spaces in the file name it doesnt use the complete name just up to where the space is. Is there a way to delete a specific file with spaces in the name?

did you try quotes "part1 part2", the normal way!
