uploading files failure.

Hi,

I have a problem with WINSCP. When i try to upload a lot of files, some are ok and some else are not ok. (It's same problem when I transferred only one file).

I always have the same problem on the same files. Size of the file are differents, there is text file and there is small file (exemple : 2 660 o). If I'm copying the file and I transfert I, it's same issue.

Just a clarification, the file is transferred correctly on the seveur (Good size and it is readable). :shock:

I try to transfert files with an other SFTP program and I have no problem. Have you got any idea ?

I'm experiencing a very similar issue. I transfer six text files on a regular basis and five of the six work just fine, but the sixth will no longer transfer. (It did work as recently as 2/10, but stopped working completely thereafter.) The transfer dialog box goes to 98 or 99% complete and then just hangs. I extended the timeout all the way to four minutes, but that didn't help. I also tried disabling "Enable Transfer Resume" and the "Automatic Reconnect" on "Preferences --> Endurance" as suggested in another forum. This stoped leaving a ".filepart" in the destination folder, but it did not fix the transfer problem.

OS : Windows XP SP2
WINSCP version : 4.1.8 (build 415)
Protocol : SFTP-3 (SCP)
Session Protocol : SSH-2
Interface Style : Explorer

I can reproduce the problem consistently by dragging and dropping from the Explorer window on the server to the WinSCP location. No error messages are present other than the Abort warning after the timeout expires, but the log file shows "Fatal error while disposing the SFTP queue".

Can you try regular WinSCP application, instead of FAR plugin?
What is your SFTP/SSH server?
Try to disable Set permissions transfer setting.

This seems as a different isseu than the first one.
Looks like your server sends back an invalid SFTP response.
Can you email me a file you are having a problems with?

I e-mailed the file that consistently errors (Users.txt) along with a file that works successfully each time. Please let me know if you do not receive them.
