problems to copy from one hard drive to another

hello

i have big problems to copy files from one hard drive to another.
if i copy files in the same hard drive there are no problems

the error message i get is:

General failure (server should provide error description).
Error code: 4
Error message from server: Failure
Request code: 18

the server admin means the settings are ok.

and he means it works with putty. but i don't like putty.

i hope you can help me.

and i use winscp v.4.1.9

I suppose you move the files actually, not copy.
