The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I believe this happened because I had to force a computer shutdown and winscp was still running. It kept trying to reconnect even though the machine had no connection so it was still open during the shutdown with reconnect messages. This message popped up after the reboot, I closed winscp since it did not have the login screen up and reopened it and started just fine.

Problem occurs every time when trying to synchronize folders on WinSCP 5.10 beta (did work on previous version). It does not occur when synchronizing identical folders - only when there's something to sync. After dismissing error window, sync checklist appears empty.

Whenever I try to synchronize from remote to local, this message appears. Afterwards, the synchronization list is shown but it's empty (while there are obvious differences between local and remote).

All I do is try to run WinSCP and get this error. Cannot open and use WinSCP at all.

All I'm trying to do is run WinSCP. This error comes up, I click OK, and then I just get a blank WinSCP window. So it's completely unusable at this point. :-(

Immediately occurs upon launch, and result seems to be the file listing (both remote and local) are permanently hidden. Even if I connect to a session I can't see any file icons for initiating transfers.
The odd part is I haven't done any new install or update that I know of that would've caused this problem. It just started out of the blue.

When I start the program it gives this error.
Only difference with last start up is that winscp was displayed on a second screen previous time and now i dont have a second screen connected.

Workaround in WinSCP.ini

Hi,

I also got the error message "Cannot change Visible in OnShow or OnHide" directly after starting WinSCP.

To workaround this, I deleted the following section from WinSCP.ini:
[Configuration\Interface\Commander]
ToolbarsLayout=...

Now WinSCP starts again without the error message.

I hope this helps some of you.

Once I have established a session I dont not get any files on the right hand panel. Note that I am in explorer view mode. This issue has occurred since the last update was applied

This issue happens consistently on application load. This issue appears to coincide with the installation of Docker/Hyper-V on my Windows 10 system. If I click through the error I can create sessions, but I cannot view any of the files; either locally or on the connected machine.

After installing, left the "Launch WinSCP" button checked in the installer. This is what came up.

This also happens each time I launch the app manually (clicking on the icon in the start menu).

Clicking "OK" on the error brings me into the app.

This happens every time I start WinSCP. I cannot interact with the remote panel once it is opened.

I can't run WinSCP at all. Gives many errors, then starts but nothing really works. If i try anything i get more errors.

I'll search other ways to get the remote file locally.
