Hidden folders when using copy and paste

I used the copy (context menu in WinSCP) and paste (context menu in Windows) and it seems that WinSCP now have created a hidden folder (scp43666) where i pasted the file. Why is this needed and why is it not deleted when the copy is finished? It seems to create a new folder for every file i paste. I don't want to have empty hidden folders everywhere because i have hidden files visible so i will see these folders.

WinSCP 5.16 Dev build 9651 2019-06-28

Re: Hidden folders when using copy and paste

I do not think this is a new behavior. You have probably never noticed the problem before.

It should be fixed now:

I'm sending you an email with a development version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.
