Listing and uploading file is slower in compare of WinSCP actual application [using VB.net]

I am using VB.net to list files and uploading files, I notice that listing and uploading files are slower than actual WinSCP application.
Are there any extra settings required to do this faster? Please suggest

Please attach a full session log file both from GUI and the assembly showing an upload of the same file.
