I was scrolling upwards with the mouse wheel when i got the following error:

Do you really scroll with some button? Or do you mean mouse wheel?

I simply opened a remote log-file using the internal WinSCP-editor. Then I searched the text (Ctrl-F) for specific words.

This error occurs when scrolling with the mouse into the viewer window.
The file was opened this way: right click on the remote file -> Open.
Connection protocol was SFTP.
It looks like the error occurs occasionally when doing a fast scroll using the mouse wheel.

I had a remote file open in the editor, a CSS file. I was searching for OL . I might have accidentally hit the scroll on the mouse while it was up for the error to appear.

I just did a find in the remote editor, then was trying to use the scroll wheel to scroll down.

Open a text file using the inbuilt editor. Open the Find window. Click on the text box and scroll (rotate the mouse wheel). Then this error is generated.

I just logged in to sftp. opened a .php file and used the find function to find a text. Just that. It gave error on 4rth time i pressed the Find button i guess

I was searching for the string <ul> in a php file. I moved the cursor to the top of the file and clicked on Find Next.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

When performing a find and replace (or at least it appears to be when I do this) when 'right-clicking' to open the dialogue box the page dies with the given message, often the entire application will close before I have the chnace to do anything else

It has to do with scrolling with a corded mouse. It is very annoying!

I opened up a file by double clicking it, I was scrolling down the page when this suddenly appeared and winscp closed
