I was just trying to save a profile for a local machine (a Raspberry Pi running OSMC). I had previously modified the profile to include the password in another running copy of WinSCP, and was trying to save it again since the current copy didn't have the password saved and the other copy was synchronizing a massive directory. Does that make sense?

Anyhow, I've been using WinSCP for many years and love using it.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I was logged to my SSH via SOCKS5 proxy (via Putty SSH Tunnel). And some files show this error when I am copying files from local PC to remote server. (files like images, (png, ...)).

I have added a file ( 450mb~ ) to queue download from server, so i added two more files 2k each, then count down starts and close connection after end, this not happen before.

I've never seen this before - all I did was select 9 files on a remote server (SFTP) to download to my local PC. I pressed the download button and almost immediately got the "Invalid access to memory error".

One of the rows in my queue is marked with a red X and says "Error", three others say "Query" which is unusual for me.

Other possibly useful things - I'd just started Windows from hibernation and it may not have finished starting up completely. Also, at the same time it's downloading Windows updates.

I changed the option in Options -> Preferences -> Transfer -> Background -> Transfer each file individually on background by default and received the error every time it tries to spawn another thread to start the file transfer. If I un-tick it, everything works as expected.

Happened during an overnight extremely large file transfer from unix server over VPN to hard drive. Has not happened previously. No one was here, so no keys pressed. However, VPN disconnected and this was shown on the prompt to reconnect (again, VPN disconnects have happened before without this issue).

During the calculation phase of 2 of multiple folders to be copied, I increased the download threads from 2 to 6. The error came immediately after clicking OK/Apply/etc/??

There was running connection to the device that disapeared from network for several hours.
Attempt to reconect generate bug.
Happen for first time (situation and problem).

Invalid access to memory - _count234

I started to copy folder from remote server. In the middle of process I turned off VPN and my connection was killed. After some time I enabled VPN and tried to restore connection, but it was failing (usually it works). Then, after some time, connection was restored and I tried to copy the folder again. And received this error.
I don't know how to attach session log
