If I leave a connection open and the endpoint reboots or resets for some reason, I think that's when this error occurs.

It happens often but I'm not sure I can reproduce it consistently

Was connected through Remote Desktop the other days and now I am at the local desktop. Meanwhile the computer wasn't put to sleep nor to hibernate, was on all the time.
Probably a change in the DPI lead to this, as the remote desktop client had another resolution.
