Winscp suddenly just stopped being able to connect to host

Hi I have recently started using winscp with my friend to transfer files to him but today when i tried to connect to his server i couldnt and just kept saying sessian timed out but it worked for others and we deduced that it was my network, i changed it so it could port 22 but it still did not work and we are desperate any help would be great thx. I am running the latest version, i am running that latest version of windows 10 i am using sftp.error message is network error connection to (server name) timed out. I dont know the steps becuase just yesterday it worked fine and i did nott do anything new on my pc. ANy help is great thx.

It's unlikely that the problem is about WinSCP. It's indeed more likely a network issue. Can you connect with any other SFTP client?
