I had left several files to upload/download overnight, came back the next morning with Winscp closed and an error message.

- Large amount of data
- to several different folders

- PC was on standby upon return, but this has usually not been an issue

Actually I know how it went. I started a connection but I discovered that this was the wrong one so I closed it immediately (while still in the Connecting... phase). The connection was originally opened using the recent connection list from the start menu.

When WinSCP had asked, I saved an icon on my desktop for a specific workspace. When I double-click on the icon to start it . I receive the window telling me that the registered password is invalid. Since I wanted to update the password, I clicked on Cancel. The error message appeared. I was able to reproduce the problem 3 times in a row.

Tried to open the existing workspace by clicking the icon on the desktop. Didn't click or did anything else. One session in the workspace had become invalid yesterday because of a server IP change, didn't think that would pose a problem. The app waited 30 sec and when that connection timed out it gave the "connection timed out" popup window. When clicked OK, it crashed with this message seen below. Repeated the operation, exact same result.
PS. The "Report options" question in this form is sinister. I DO know how to reproduce the problem and it happens all the time reliably but do NOT wish to be contacted. There is no such answer available.
