Running file command using non-default shell?

I have WinSCP set up to use SCP on a secure server. I have configured it to do a "sudo su - userid" to open the file listings and to do the transfers. However, when i run a command, it seems to revert back to my "normal" user id to run the command.

Is there a way to have it use the same shell that it used to start the session?

How exactly did you "configure" it?
Did you follow the documentation? https://winscp.net/eng/docs/faq_su

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, use /log=C:\path\to\winscp.log command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
