Perpetual Time OUts

A couple of weeks back I reported that the newest release of WinSCP was producing repeated and perpetual time outs. I have resolved the problem with Martin's superb assistance and as it turns out it is not a WinSCP problem. I have Kaspersky Total Security installed which has kept me absolutely safe for many years. However, Kaspersky Total Security considers ftp to be a potentially dangerous process so blocks such operations until the specific log in in White-listed. I had not done that. My tech support group found the issue and quickly resolved it so that WinSCP is now functioning flawlessly. Thanks to Martin for a product I've used for over five years and for his patience in helping resolve the problem. Dick

Re: Perpetual Time OUts

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Perpetual Time OUts

I've been a long time and very successful user of WINSCP. However, this morning after installing the recent release I can no longer ftp upload a file. After a couple of meg uploaded I get the message that a time out was detected. The session is reconnected, attempt again to repeat the upload and repeats the cycle over and over again.
