Re: keep remote update fails to copy files to remote server

After the reconnect, the function should keep working. Restart should not be needed.
Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).
Can you identify the version that introduced the problem?
https://sourceforge.net/projects/winscp/files/WinSCP/

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

keep remote update fails to copy files to remote server

I have been using this feature in WinSCP for years. It is even more important as i am working from home now. what happens is that on occasion it seems that the file copy dialog is trying to copy a file back to the server and it times out followed by a loss of connection. I need to close the program and restart it for this feature to work again. This is an intermittent problem that occurs occasionally but often happens after long periods of inactivity like going for dinner and then coming back to do some more work. This has only been occurring in the last few versions going back to earlier this year (2020)
