Re: issue when transferring large files via ftp

Please attach a full session log files from both versions.

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

issue when transferring large files via ftp

While a session is opened and in main window view, drag and drop a file larger than 10MB to transfer from local to remote drive via FTP. At first it looks like it's working but transfer speed rapidly drops and then completely stalls. The error I keep getting is "Timeout detected. (control connection). Copying files to remote side failed". It then automatically tries to reconnect and continue but the same thing happens until I press the "abort" button. I've tried increasing the timeout limit but it doesn't help. Small files <10MB seem to transfer just fine; only the larger ones give this error.

Using WinSCP 5.17.10 with GUI interface on Windows 10 Enterprise 1909.

I re-downloaded the previous WinSCP version, 5.17.9, and this works fine, no errors, for files of any size.
