Ok, thanks for the help.

So please report the problem to the FTP server app authors.

That should be the full log file, I followed the steps you said to enable it. I can do it again if I should be doing something different but it was a normal log. It's an Xbox app called FTP Durango, is that "garbage" something I should be concerned about? I don't know if this helps but when using WinSCP there are files shown on the remote device with no type, name or size and if I specifically leave those out the transfer will work. Really old versions of WinSCP didn't give me an issue and a different FTP program also worked and incidentally don't show these mysterious files.

"Full" log file please. What kind of FTP server is that? It seems to include some garbage in the directory listing:

Ok here is the log. I made it private since I have no idea what might be sensitive info in there.

Re: Error copying remote files

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Error copying remote files

I'm getting an error when trying to copy remote files to either local or to another location on the same remote drive. It says
Copying files from remote side failed.
Exception thrown, message: Value does not fall within the expected range.
Any info on what may be the issue? TIA
