Error Code 4, Request Code 6=no transfer

Okay so I can logon using my host name, user name, and password and as of about 2 weeks ago I could transfer files perfectly. But now what happens is itll start, maybe do just a few kb of the file, and then tell me error code 4, request code 6 and I have no idea what to do past this point.
