Re: Show Login dialog on startup and when the last session is closed
All tabbed interfaces I know (most web browsers for example) have "New Tab" on the right.

Show Login dialog on startup and when the last session is closed
Hi, yes we found that you said: "Show Login dialog on startup and when the last session is closed" preference option turned off
We had it turned off, so we turned on and now we have floating that access to connections, thank you.
And about the update, if you see in both screecaptures you shared, in v5 it was more easy and intuitive to connect, in v6 this changes a lot and it was pretty difficult to find it, so maybe you can valorate on bringing to front again so brings back the easy of use of your great program. Thank you!

Re: All has changed
@Ibiza69: I'm sorry, but you didn't explain the different that you perceive. How is the connection menu more difficult to find than before?
I assume you have "Show Login dialog on startup and when the last session is closed" preference option turned off (otherwise I guess you would not even be asking). The option is enabled by default btw. You must have turned it off. If you use WinSCP only for connections, you might want to restore it.
Anyway, in case you want to keep the option off: Attached are screenshots of 5.21.8 and 6.1 with all defaults, just the mentioned option off (or after closing the initial Login dialog). Can you please explain how is the "connection menu" more difficult to find? Is it the label? ("New Tab" vs. "New Session"?)

All has changed
Hi, thanks for answering. What I was meaning was that before this last update, we had our files at left hand side and remote sites at right hand side and an intuitive menu for remote connections (visible). Now everything has changed, we have our personal files at both sides (left and right), and the connections menu is difficult to find it. Is there a way for configuring your application as it was before? Thank you.

Re: When WinSCP is opened, it shows My Documents in the right side since 6
@Ibiza69: Sorry, but I do not understand. The only thing that has changed is that now WinSCP defaults to a tab with two-local panels, as WinSCP 6 can now work a local file manager too:
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/task_file_management
Nothing else has changed. The remote tabs/sessions are available as easily as before. Or do you see any other difference? What exactly do you mean by "websites connection showing easily"? How easier were they showing before?

Re: When WinSCP is opened, it shows My Documents in the right side since 6
It's not possible with WinSCP 6. What is the problem about having local files in the right panel before you connect?
I think what he means is that before this update, we had our websites connection at right panel and at left panel our computer directories. Now both have the same thing at both sides: Computer Directories and websites aren´t showing at righthand side.
And if you check at this image: https://i.imgur.com/MVbKOB7.jpg, you can see that websites connection is like hided, isn't showing well for an FTP program, should be so hard to find this.
Is there a way for solving all this and have back our old configuration, websites connection showing easily and at front, and computer archives at lefthand side and websites at righthand side?
Thank you for any feedback :)

Just that there's already local files on the left.

When WinSCP is opened, it shows My Documents in the right side since 6
Previously when I opened WinSCP, it would show blank as the remote file structure before logging in.
Now since WinSCP 6, it is showing My Documents on the right which I don't want.
How to change this?
