Re: Sharing variables which contains user and pass between WinSCP and PuTTY

I'm not sure I understand. PuTTY does not allow you to store the password.

Anyway, you can instruct WinSCP to pass its stored password to PuTTY. See "Remember session password and pass it to PuTTY":

Sharing variables which contains user and pass between WinSCP and PuTTY

Hello.

I would like to know if there's any possibility of using some kind of variable to store the password and share it between WinSCP and PuTTY since they both integrate with each other.

I have a password that expires frequently, and I would like to find a way to modify it in one place without having to go connection by connection modifying it in each one. Do you know if there's any solution for this?

Thank you in advance.
