Re: Network error: Software caused connection abort

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

Can you access those files using any other client using the same protocol?

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Network error: Software caused connection abort

Hi everyone, I'd like some support on this.
I've been using this credential for WinSCP for quite some time.
After a while that I didn't connect to WinSCP, a strange behavior would occur

  • I can authenticate with same password as usual
  • WinSCP seem to show the files in remote folder
  • When clicking into some files in folder, an error would say
Network error: Software caused connection abort

which caused me to reconnect again. And repeat...

Any solutions would help since I've got stuck for almost a month here. Thank you!
