This way you learn if the problem is with WinSCP or your network (more likely). If it is network problem, please contact your network or server administrator.

I am experiencing a network error when trying to connect to Rakuten's SFTP server using WinSCP.

I have confirmed that the hostname, port number, username, and password are all entered correctly. However, I still receive a [i]"Network error"[/i] message and cannot establish a connection.

I have already contacted Rakuten's support team regarding this issue, but they were unable to resolve it.

Could you please advise on the possible causes of this error and how to resolve it?
