Thx for your reply. I am afraid I cannot find the "environment" button(?) you refer to. Plz give clearer instructions, for example

click on session
click on saved sessions
select a saved session
etc
etc

I give this particular example as it has been how I have interpreted your instruction "go to WinSCP Login (for each saved session profile)", but I cannot see any mention of "environment". I would be very grateful for some more help from you.

In the meantime ... go to WinSCP Login (for each saved session profile) click on Environment ... change from default setting for DST ... to "Server adjusts DST" so your "make" files ... etc will work. WinSCP view will be off by 1 hour but the actual time in Server will be correct. If you use WinSCP / Notepad++ and save the file ... otherwise the file will save wrong. By Using the Setting Change so that the "Server" DST time is used ... your Server File will be correct.

Hi,

I am in Great Britain and we have just put our clocks forward one hour to move to BST (British Summer Time). My PC is correct, and my Unix box is correct, but WINSCP thinks the time is one hour ahead. I can see from this forum that this has been a problem for many years. I do not care about synchronisation or anything fancy. I just want to see the correct timestamp after updating a file. I gather from this forum that this may easily be achieved by changing a setting somewhere. Plz give me a clear description of how to do this.

I am running version 3.8.2 (Build 330)
