The only way for me to run winscp on my laptop is to put a cd in the drive. for some reason, winscp defaults to the d: cd drive for the initial local directory. The first hard drive on my system is g:. Unless I have a CD in the drive, winscp crashes after a "retry, cancel, continue" dialog (all three options crash with no error message). I've tried setting the initial local directory in the profile settings but it seems that it does the d: drive seek before those profile settings are loaded.
thanks
