Re: "WinSCP: this is end-of-file:0" with PowershellServer

That's correct. You can connect only to Unix servers using SCP protocol with WinSCP (or to server emulating Unix, like Cygwin).

Re: "WinSCP: this is end-of-file:0" with PowershellServer

I have the answer from support PowerShell Server:
Hi Libor,

Thank you for providing this information. Are you trying to use WinSCP to connect to PowerShell Server over SCP? Unfortunately, WinSCP is a special case which will not work with PowerShell Server (on any version of Windows, PowerShell, etc). The functionality for SCP that is built into PowerShell Server is strictly SCP, and WinSCP won't work with it because of some tricks it uses underneath which are not standard to SCP. There are alternatives to SCP, but they are mostly command line tools. One common one is PSCP (PuTTY's SCP client), but again, it is a command line tool.

However, I've confirmed that SFTP works from WinSCP to PowerShell Server. If you're attempting to connect over something other than SCP, let me know and we can troubleshoot the issue.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

Re: WinSCP: this is end-of-file:0 help?

Please post a full log file showing the problem.

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. For posting extensive logs you may use pastebin or similar application. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.

WinSCP: this is end-of-file:0 help?

When I connect to my host server (memebot.com), I am able to log in, but get this error every time i try to input any commands. I'm actually using PuTTY, but I wonder if there are any settings that need to be changed for this? I run into this error no matter what program I used. Some help is really appreciated.

Thanks.
