Re: download and delete question

If you are asking, if WinSCP deletes the files, if you interrupt a "download and delete" operation during the download phase -- then no, it won't delete the files.

If you have doubts, please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

download and delete question

Hi all,

I have some question regarding the download and delete function of winscp, I'm currently using version 5.15. my question is when I interrupt the process is my files are safe from the remote server? will it still continue the process? because there is this case right now that I'd interrupted a download and delete of 3.3GB worth of important files now when I came back to check again the folder is empty. the system confirm that I've successfully interrupted it.

THanks
