Re: Lost connection

Please attach a full session log files showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP). FileZilla log file would be useful too for a comparison.

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Lost connection

Howdy,
Saw some similar comments like this back in 2014.
Since upgrading to the latest version problem has occurred.
Log in to hosting service seems normal. Directory listing is presented. From that point on, any thing attempted, such as opening a directory or viewing/editing a file generates this response -
Title is - Lost connection
Message is
"Disconnected from server
Error changing directory to 'documents'"
Spoke with hosting service Tech Support. They tried same using a different FTP client and had no error.
Side Note. I can right click on items and check properties, etc with no errors?
I downloaded FileZilla (Yuk) logged on and had no errors.
