Exactly.
So if you want to use FTP, make sure you select FTP protocol before turning off passive mode.

Passive mode is special mode of FTP protocol. It is enabled by default. Disable it only when needed. The option is supported only with FTP protocol.

Hello,

I'm using winscp 5.0.6 (build 2074). As subject of this discussione, i cant set winscp to active mode. The checkbox "Passive mode" is disabled.
