Re: sudden upload failure

Do you still have the old computer with the old WinSCP?

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

sudden upload failure

Hello Group

After several years merrily uploading files to my website with WinSCP, I am suddenly able to upload only precisely 16kb of any file! Which coincidentally stops after 16 seconds and just hangs

My situation is basically that I have a new WinSCP on a new computer and additionally have just installed a Windows 10 update.

I am thinking that somebody may be able to diagnose my problem through the 16kb/16 secs factor

Thanks
Tom (Prof at Univ Quebec in Montreal)
