6.1.26_20+ Files moved to a new folder_can't access the folder now

WinSCP version 6.5.6 (Build 16502 2026-03-25)
x64 Win 10 Pro 22H2
GUI used
I moved files from within my remote folder to a new folder
Steps:-
  1. Enabled FTP on my Android phone using X-plore app. Anonymous login enabled
  2. Opened WinSCP. Accessed 192.168.xx.xxx:port
  3. WinSCP is configured to show local folders on the left side & remote folder on the right side
  4. I accessed the folder where my content is in the remote folder (right side in the GUI)
  5. Right clicked in an empty area, New > Directory
  6. I named the directory 1900 Folder
  7. I selected 20+ Files as I just wanted them in a folder of their own. Just selected the first file, held the Shift key down until the last file was selected
  8. Right clicked, Move To > target path used /Internal shared storage/placeholder/1900 Folder
Default Target Path was /Internal shared storage/placeholder/*.*
  9. Now the folder doesn't look like a folder at all.
  10. I have attached how the 1900 Folder doesn't look like a folder at all. Also note that for some weird reason the size is a meager ~114 MB. That should be over 20+ GB's
  11. That looks like a file & not a folder for some reason.
Please assist!

Re: 6.1.26_20+ Files moved to a new folder_can't access the folder now

The correct target path would be /Internal shared storage/placeholder/1900 Folder/*.*. Without the *.*, you are asking WinSCP to store the files to 1900 Folder file, overwriting one another. But WinSCP should detect that the 1900 Folder is a folder and infer the *.*. It seems that it didn't. It might be something with the server. I cannot reproduce the problem, if I repeat your instructions step by step. For me the files end in 1900 Folder subfolder as they should. Can you reproduce the problem? Please post session log files, if you can.
