Left side (local) freezes for a long time when lots of files on scrolling or letter typing

Left side (local) freezes for a long time when lots of files on scrolling or letter typing. My folder has 2750 items (files and folders). When i enter this folder and try to scroll or type a letter to scroll, winscp freezes for a long time. (5.7.3 5438)

What kind of files are there?

it's a downloads folder, so all kind of files. Executables and archives mostly, with many folders from these unzipped files.

It can be the executables. Try disabling loading of icons from local files.

Run WinSCP once like:

winscp.exe /rawconfig Interface\LocalIconsByExt=1

You have to use 5.7.3 for this.

it's working fine after loading of icons from executables is disabled.
