network error: software caused connection abort

Hi, I've downloaded WinSCP to transfer files from the windows machine to the redhat OS in Virtual box. But when I try to connect through WinSCP I get the error, "network error: software caused connection abort"javascript:emoticon(':(') . had been trying to figure out the problem but nothing didn't work.
Disabled firewall of windows, Disabled firewall of linux but still I get the same error, :(
Can any one help me resolving this issue.

What version of WinSCP are you using?

i've tried both the version 4..34 and 5.0. nothing didn't work

Are you able to connect using any other SSH client?

no..tried putty, filezilla..but nothing didn't worked.

Than you should better contact your server administrator.

theres no server Admin, I am running linux with vmware in a windows machine.
