Transfer fails with error code 127

I can connect to my Solaris server fine, but when I try to transfer a file either to or from the server I get a failure with the error:

Command failed with return code 127.

This error message is more elaborate with version 3.5, but I have tried what the message suggested (adding scp to my path statement, checking the permissions to make sure I can execute scp on the server, etc) to no avail. Any ideas?

Have you tried SFTP instead of SCP?
