Just did some security tweaking and changed my ssh to a high port number. This has been the only thing that I have changed recently.

I am able to login properly, but whenever I try to upload, rename a file, create directory I receive an error. My log follows:

I do not thing that the problem has anything to do with high port. But from the log I cannot see any other cause, "Permission denied" is too general.

After reviewing, your correct. It is not related to the high port. What's funny is that I am using it to login to another home directory (on the same server as a different user)and it is working without a hitch and all the settings in WinSCP are exactly the same. I've tried to remove the profile/session and recreating it (defalt config) and yet nothing.


Any other suggestions?

Just to clarify:

In WinSCP, I have two sessions: "Client 1 & Client 2", using default settings. Both clients are on the same ded. server (shared ip).

Someone changed the permisions on that dir. I feel like an idiot. That should of been the first thing to check. Idea
