DST issue cropping up again

Twice each year in the US when we move in and out of daylight savings time, WinSCP goes crazy and re-synchronizes all files.

This happens across all versions, but the most recent versions will not save the 4.3.5, 5.0.5 will not save the daylight savings time settings in the GUI.

synchronize timestamps isn't really a viable option, because that still takes forever to run. Is there an effective solution to this problem?

It looks like we will have to discontinue use of WinSCP because we can not resolve this issue.

ok, so after having run synchronize timestamps, we will have the same issue of WinSCP synchronizing old data.

No help here? We use WinSCP to synchronize medical information between different doctors and nurses that work for the same clinic. Our clients are screaming at us. No other software apparently comes close to the functionality of WinSCP.

So far, nothing we have tried is working. Can someone please help?
