WINSCP LOGIN

When I login and enter my user name,host name, and password and hit login, it searches for "host" but times out and never connects. I am using Windows Vista. What am I doing wrong?

I am getting a similar problem. I am connecting but I type in the exact password alpine but it says access denied. I have never EVER SSHed in my life. I am the SSH Dumbo after all!!! :D
