list files first, not directories first

Hi
In the details view, I see directories listed first, then files. I would like to ask for an option to not make this distinction between directories and files, as it is the case of Finder in the Mac, or Explore in windows. The motivation for this is that when working with files, we typically search for the most recently modified, or recently created, or by any other criteria, aiming at working with a file, and the way it works today we need to scroll down all the directories until arriving at the list of files.

Thanks for your suggestion. Actually you are the first one requesting this. Let's see if there are more people who finds this useful.

I would find this feature useful since I update files more often than directories and would like to see the most recently updated files first
