Searching for Host

I'm having problems connecting to some of my sites.

I keep getting 'searching for host' and then 'Network Error: Connection Timed Out' issues. I've checked using ws_ftp and the host is fine and up.

Any idea where I'm going wrong?

Forgive me if this is a basic question.
