heres a little from my log..

what is wrong ?????

I have no idea, I'm sorry. What server are you trying to connect to? Can you try to login with Putty SSH teminal? (use SSH!)

f-secure ssh server 5.1 build4
i cannot connect with key and putty (havent figured that out but it connects fine with username and password ..
with f-secure client everything works ...
and with winscp not at all or actually it goes to starting session ... and then 'host hasnt answered for 15 seconds ..'

This is completely different error message than one you described in previous post. Can you send me a complete log file?

ok , i read somewhere that i should edit the default shell to /bin/bash so thats the different logs when i use default this happens...

In first case standard Windows shell in invoked (cmd.exe), which is not compatible with WinSCP (it requires "unix" shell). I cannot say what causes problem in second case. Are you sure, that /bin/bash exists on your server?

No im not.
Im just trying to connect 2 windows machines ....i have no programming knowledge .... you say windows cmd is not compatible , what can i install inside windows to use winscp with then ? .....

WinSCP requires unix-like shell. Some SSH implementation for Windows provides one. OpenSSH for Windows for example, but this project was teminated recently. Another example is Cygwin.
I have no experiences with F-secure SSH.
