14,978 KB size limit?

Hello.

I am using the JavaScript code provided as an example, (https://winscp.net/eng/docs/script_download_most_recent_file) and it works PERFECT for downloading files that are a few MB's. But when I try to download a file of a larger size, say 1 GB, it stops automatically at exactly 14.978 MB. It does this for any large file, stops exactly at 14,978 KB. By the way this is for downloading analysis (computational fluid dynamics) files I am running on a remote server. I am hoping there is a simple fix for this because it seems perfect for my needs.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Regards,
Scott R.

also..

By the way, it woks fine via the GUI. However, I can't use the GUI approach because I need to start this before I leave at night to start the download at 4AM so it's done when I arrive to work. So the GUI is not an option for me even though it works.

SOLVED

I found that compressing and tarring the file at the remote location first, will overcome this issue (Even though the compressed & tarred file is still larger than 14,978 KB). It isn't apparent why this is so, but at this point I don't care because it now works for me.
