WinSCP 5 crashes while connecting to QNAP via FTP(S)

When I try to connect to my QNAP TS-412 NAS via FTP or FTPS (explicit SSL) using WinSCP 5.1, WinSCP fetches the Folder list and displays the current shares on the QNAP.

After displaying the shares WinSCP just hungs for a few minutes and crashes completely afterwards.

Connection works fine with WinSCP 4.3.9.

My current OS is Win 7 x64 Pro.
