missing images

Hell Windows SCP staff.
I have a problem with myWinSCP.
I am trying to transfer a file from my desktop to terpconnect using WinSCP I have a windows 7 acer aspire, and when I transfer my file from my desktop the file goes from 6,480 size to 6,378 size, and when I open it none of the images I used come up except for the titles I gave them. this happens when I move the file from one system to another or copy them, none of the images come up.
Also when I try and move it back to the desktop it works fine. The images appear perfectly in the desktop but not when I upload it to term, and this is for an assignment that is due Friday. I double check my HTML settings and from what i can see there is nothing wrong there. The images just do not appear when I open them in terp, and I have no idea how to fix it. If I need to change my settings or re-save the pictures or anything please let me know. I want to know EXACTLY how to fix this problem.

The change in file size may suggest you are using Text/Ascii transfer mode. Make sure you are using Binary mode.
