WinSCP not responding after a certain period of time

I am using WinSCP version 5.1.1 in Commander mode with SFTP protocol version 5. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 which is when the problem started.

Having logged into WinSCP the file exchange works for a certain period of time (between a couple of minutes and half an hour). Then for no discernible reason it will suddenly grey out and say "Not Responding" with no error alert. The only way to get it back is to close the application and restart.

Is there a setting I have missed during setup for the connection or is this a feature of Windows 7?

First, please try to upgrade to 5.1.4.
