Gaps appearing in code

Hi,

I've noticed that something is creating random new line gaps (white space) in my scripts as i download/edit/upload them using WinSCP. I'll close these gaps and upload the file only to find new gaps appearing elsewhere later on. Sometimes the gaps are considerable, other times it's only 1 or 2 lines. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.

Any ideas?

If you have some file for which it happens consistently, or at least very often and the file has not sensitive content, I would appreciate if you can send it to my email address (for email see my profile on the left). Also, what version of WinSCP do you use? What protocol? SCP or SFTP? If SFTP, what version?
