I am new to Linuz. I am trying to use WinSCP to connect to my smoothwall server. I keep getting connection refused. Any ideas

Do you enter right port number on login dialog? Firewall SSH ports are usually different than the default 22.

Ok how do i find out what port my smoothwall is using or do I have to set smoothwall up to accept the connection.

I have never used nor seen this filewall. But I suppose you'll find it in your documentation.
