I need ~ SynchronizationResult before doing the sync .

Hello,
I need to get a list similar to the SynchronizationResult before doing the actual sync,
I want to implement backup/rollback feature and I need such list before doing the sync.

looking at the API, I don't think there is such thing, any suggestions ?
it will be great if this can be added to the API.
