simultaneous use of command line and gui instances

v5.5 / win 7-32

I have an instance of WinSCP running every 60-seconds from the Windows task scheduler. Are there any considerations/issues if I were to open the GUI and initiate a session to another server, concurrently?

Thanks for the program. I just switched from FZ because of directory listing issues with Comcast. WinSCP works fine!

Is the following command line string sufficient to isolate instance?

/command "option batch abort" "option confirm off" "option transfer binary" "open ftp://xxxx@xxxx.com" "put ""c:\program files\xxxx\archive\xxxx.jpg""" "exit"

No. You need to use /ini=nul switch or use isolated INI file.

I added /ini=null to the command line and it failed to execute. I also tried creating a script using the same commands that are in the command line string, and it also fails. Both are being triggered by the Windows Task Scheduler.

What am I doing wrong?

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.

As you suggested, I used the log file to troubleshoot. The problem was that I was not passing my password to the server, in the command line. Everything is working fine, now. :-) Thanks!
