Copying files from remote side failed

The session timed out. Rather than waiting, I disconnected and reconnected. I also had four putty ssh terminal opened. All putty sessions were spawned from the button in the WinSCP menu w/auto-login. One of the putty sessions died about the same time.

Win 8.1
8GB RAM
Samsung SSD

WinSCP 5.5

Error message:
Copying files from remote side failed.
Invalid access to memory.
