Copying files from remote side failed.

I'm pretty sure my issues is that the file is busy when tried to be copied but is there something in the output that tells me the file is locked or busy? All I see is:

Get an exception while transferring files

Hello,

I have been reading all the threads in WinSCP about ExtException. It seems that its still an issue.

I have a setup to transfer files from LAN to DMZ through 2 firewalls. WinSCP failes often with (EScpSkipFile) Error.

I am using exclusive transfer , there is no chance that 2 instances are trying to access the same file.

Please help me in setting up FTPS transfer.I am sure I need to play with Background option under Transfer in preference window, but no cobination is yeilding result.

And also I would like to know, is it normal that script takes around 12 mins to transfer 60 MB content ?

Am using PASSIVE mode with implicit SSL. WinSCP 5.5.1

The error comes from your server.
I cannot help you further without knowing some context.
Are you getting this for any upload or randomly? Any information helps.

Thanks for your response.

This error is not related to system , I am sure about this part. No process uses this file.

My set up is LAN server->Filerewall 1->firewall 2-> WebServer(IIS ftp site)

It works well many times, but ends in error few times. Hence this is our corporate website I can not afford this failure.

Below is the error which I received today.

FTP site will not alow partial file transfer, and firewall has 30 sec timeout.

Well some does, obviously.
Any chance you run the same (or similar) WinSCP script switch at the same time? What would cause FTP server trying to access the same file concurrently.
